Emile Allen, M.D., BCH, CI is the Director and Founder of the MindWise Protocol, LLC, and the former Chief of Urology and Vice Chairman of Surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital-La Jolla, California. Throughout his career, he saw the power of the subconscious mind to control post-operative pain. He experienced the significance of the subconscious mind firsthand when he barely escaped electrocution after a piece of medical equipment malfunctioned, leaving him fighting for his life on the operating room floor with severe injuries. This profound event redirected his personal and professional life and led him to study hypnosis and the power of the subconscious mind’s ability to heal the body. Dr. Allen overcame insurmountable odds through his resilience and will to recover.

Combined with his decades of experience and unique perspective as a surgeon and hypnotist, Dr. Allen became a leader in advancing the field of Medical Hypnosis. He has helped people world-wide through his unique drug-free methodologies that facilitate the healing of chronic illness and the management of acute and chronic pain.

"I heal more people now than I ever did when I held a scalpel in my hand.  Best of all, I'm not leaving a scar behind to remind someone I was there."

Dr. Allen is a two-time international award-winning author, an internationally-recognized speaker, and a sought-after medical hypnotist. His passion for teaching and positively impacting people's lives has been recognized globally.

Dr. Allen is the founder of the MindWise Protocol for Patient-Driven Drug-Free Pain Management, which he teaches to healthcare providers worldwide. He created the MindWise Protocol to help alleviate the pain and suffering that patients are going through in a manner that is not associated with the current morbidity and mortality of current treatment options.
